GTA 6 Gangs and Factions
Every GTA has its gangs, and the GTA 6 trailers already show biker clubs, Keys smugglers and Vice City crews. Here is who we expect Jason and Lucia to run into, and who might be gunning for them.

GTA 6 gangs have not been named by Rockstar, but the trailers give away plenty. Biker clubs ride through Ambrosia, drug runners work the Keys, and Vice City's clubs and labels have their own muscle. Every GTA since the first has been built around rival crews, and Leonida will be no different.
Treat this page as informed speculation. We name factions only where the footage shows them, and everything else is our guess.
Which gangs appear in the GTA 6 trailers?
From the official trailers and screenshots, these groups stand out:
- Bikers in Ambrosia. Screenshots show a biker gang riding down a flag-lined main street, and a biker in a club vest holding a revolver. See Ambrosia.
- Drug runners in the Keys. Brian Heder is an old-school drug runner, and Jason works for people like him. See the Leonida Keys.
- Vice City crews. Club owners, rappers and their entourages fill the city scenes, led by figures like Boobie Ike.
- Robbery crews. Raul Bautista puts together teams for bank jobs, which may make him a faction of his own.
Will GTA 6 have gang territory?
GTA San Andreas let you take over turf from rival gangs, and fans have asked for it ever since. GTA 5 dropped it. Speculation: a full turf war system is unlikely for a story about a couple rather than a gang, but some areas may be dangerous to enter, the way GTA 5's gang neighbourhoods turned hostile if you lingered.
Could gangs be at war with each other?
Speculation: the most likely conflict in the story is between the Keys smuggling world Jason comes from and the Vice City money that Lucia's plans lead to. Biker clubs in the north could be a third side, possibly as buyers, rivals or muscle for hire.
What about corrupt police and officials?
GTA has always had a crooked-cop thread, from Tenpenny in San Andreas to the FIB in GTA 5. Leonida's heavy police presence in every trailer makes a corrupt official or task force a strong guess for a late-story villain. Our wanted system page covers what the police look like so far.
Will you be able to join a gang?
Probably not in the story. Jason and Lucia are set up as a couple working for themselves. Speculation: GTA 6 Online is the more likely home for crews, clubs and organisations, as it was in GTA Online.

Are there gangs in GTA 6?
Yes, in the sense that the trailers show bikers, drug runners and street crews. Rockstar has not named the gangs or explained how they work.
Will GTA 6 have gang wars like San Andreas?
Unknown. Fans want it back, but GTA 5 dropped turf wars and nothing in the trailers shows a territory system. We think it is unlikely in the story.
Who is the villain in GTA 6?
