Brian Heder

Brian Heder is a supporting character in GTA 6, an old-school drug runner based in the Leonida Keys. Rockstar introduced him in Trailer 2 and on the official site as the man who gives Jason Duval a place to live, for a price.

Who is Brian Heder in GTA 6?

Brian has been running drugs through the Keys for a long time. He belongs to an older generation of smugglers who know the waterways, the back roads and who to pay off.

He is married to Lori. Rockstar presents the couple as fixtures of Keys life, settled into a routine that happens to involve a lot of illegal cargo.

What is Brian's deal with Jason?

Brian lets Jason live on his property rent-free. In return, Jason helps out with Brian's business. That arrangement is a key part of Jason's starting point and explains why he is tied to drug running when the story begins.

It is a classic GTA setup: a mentor who is useful but also a trap. We expect Brian's jobs to make up some of Jason's early missions, with plenty of boat runs and Keys highway drives.

How will Brian Heder fit into the story?

Rockstar has not detailed his arc. It is likely he serves as an early mission giver who introduces Jason's world before Lucia enters the picture and the story moves toward Vice City.

If GTA 6 follows past games, characters like Brian often get left behind or turn into complications as the leads grow more ambitious. Check our GTA 6 boats page for the vessels his line of work may involve, and the interactive map to explore the Keys.
