Dre'Quan Priest is a supporting character in GTA 6 who has traded working the door for working the mixing desk. Rockstar introduced him in Trailer 2 and on the official site as a man with big ambitions in the Vice City music scene.
Who is Dre'Quan Priest in GTA 6?
Dre'Quan started out as a bouncer at the strip club owned by Boobie Ike. He has since moved into music, producing for Boobie's label, Only Raw Records.
He is hungry and focused. Rockstar frames him as someone who knows that talent alone is not enough, and that the right signing at the right time can change everything.
Why does Dre'Quan want to sign Real Dimez?
Dre'Quan's big goal is to sign Real Dimez, the rap duo of Bae-Luxe and Roxy. They already have a viral hit, and bringing them to Only Raw Records would be a huge win for the label and for Dre'Quan's own reputation.
That ambition looks set to be a running thread in Vice City's storyline. We expect it to pull Jason and Lucia into the music business in some way, though Rockstar has not said how.
How does Dre'Quan fit into the story?
Nothing about Dre'Quan's missions is confirmed yet. If GTA 6 follows Rockstar's pattern, he could be a mission giver whose jobs revolve around protecting talent, dealing with rival labels or making sure the label's money keeps flowing.
His past as a bouncer also hints that he can handle himself when things get rough. Read more about the club scene in our GTA 6 nightlife guide, and see how music may feature in the game on the radio stations page.
