The GTA 6 radio stations have not been announced by Rockstar as of October 2026. The station list, the songs and the DJs are all unknown, so everything on this page is expectation based on past games and on what the trailers and official site have shown.
Radio has been a core part of every modern Grand Theft Auto, and we fully expect GTA 6 to continue that tradition.
Has Rockstar confirmed any GTA 6 radio stations?
No. Rockstar has not named a single station or released a soundtrack list. The only confirmed music so far comes from the trailers, which we cover on our GTA 6 trailer songs page.
We will update this page as soon as an official list appears, whether that is before launch or once the game is in players' hands.
How many radio stations will GTA 6 have?
If GTA 6 follows GTA 5, we expect a large lineup covering a wide range of genres. A bigger map and a longer development cycle make it likely that the soundtrack will be at least as broad as before.
It is also likely that the station mix will reflect Leonida itself. A Florida-inspired state suggests strong representation for genres popular in that part of the world.
What kind of music could be on GTA 6 radio?
Here is what we expect, based on the setting and Rockstar's history:
- Hip-hop and rap, given the music industry characters around Vice City.
- Latin music, reflecting the culture of Vice City and its real-world inspiration.
- Classic rock and pop, following the classic tracks used in the first two trailers.
- Electronic and dance, fitting the club scenes and the launch trailer music.
- Country or southern rock, for drives through the rural parts of Leonida.
- Talk radio, which has been a Rockstar staple for satire.
None of these are confirmed. They are educated guesses.
Could the story affect the radio?
There is a fun link worth watching. The official site introduces Boobie Ike, who runs the Only Raw Records label, and Dre'Quan Priest, who wants to sign the rap duo Real Dimez.
It seems likely that music from this storyline could show up on the in-game radio, perhaps changing as the story progresses. That would be a natural way to tie the soundtrack to the world, but Rockstar has not said anything about it.
Will the trailer songs be on the radio?
We do not know yet. Past Rockstar trailer songs have sometimes made it into the game and sometimes not. The Tom Petty, Pointer Sisters and Justice tracks are strong candidates, but treat that as a hope rather than a promise.
