GTA 6 TV and internet have not been shown in detail, but media satire is a core part of every GTA. GTA 4 had TV channels and internet cafes, GTA 5 had a phone full of fake websites, and the GTA 6 trailers are packed with people filming, posting and going viral.

This page covers what we expect. Nothing beyond the trailers' social media clips is confirmed.

Will GTA 6 have TV?

Likely. GTA 4 and GTA 5 both had watchable TV in safehouses, with cartoons, comedy, news and adverts. Speculation: GTA 6 TV could include local Leonida news reporting on your crimes, reality shows and shopping channels.

Will there be an in-game internet?

GTA 4 had internet cafes, and GTA 5 moved the internet onto the phone, with dozens of parody sites for shopping, stocks and social networks. Likely: GTA 6 keeps a phone-based internet. See our GTA 6 phone page.

What is GTA 6 social media like?

The trailers parody short video apps and influencer culture, with Leonida locals filming everything from fights to parties. That is the clearest sign of where GTA 6's satire is aimed. Read more on our social media page.

Could your crimes be on the news?

GTA 4 and GTA 5 radio news sometimes reported on story events. Speculation: GTA 6 goes further, with news segments and viral clips reacting to your crimes, possibly tied to the wanted system.

Will there be in-game ads and brands?

Certainly. Fake ads have been part of every GTA. See GTA 6 brands for the parody brands already spotted.

Will the radio talk about the story?

Probably. Talk radio has commented on GTA stories before. See GTA 6 radio stations.
