GTA 6 First-Person Mode and Camera Options
GTA 5 added first-person mode on newer consoles and Red Dead 2 launched with one. Here is whether GTA 6 will have first-person mode, a cinematic camera and other view options.

On this page
GTA 6 first-person mode has not been confirmed. Rockstar has not shown any first-person footage. But GTA 5 added a full first-person mode when it came to newer consoles and PC, and Red Dead Redemption 2 launched with one, so it would be a surprise if GTA 6 left it out.
This page covers the camera options we expect. None is officially confirmed.
Does GTA 6 have first-person mode?
Likely. GTA 5's first-person mode, added in 2014, covered walking, shooting and driving, with detailed car interiors. Red Dead 2 had first person from day one. GTA 6's detailed interiors and vehicles suggest Rockstar has built for close-up views.

Will there be a cinematic camera?
GTA 5 and Red Dead 2 both had a cinematic camera that showed your drive from film-style angles. Likely: GTA 6 keeps it, as it suits long drives like our Vice City to the Keys route.
Will GTA 6 have a photo mode?
GTA 5 used the in-game phone camera and later the Snapmatic app, and Red Dead 2 added a full photo mode after launch. Speculation: with selfies and filming all over the trailers, the in-game phone camera will be a big feature, perhaps alongside a full photo mode.

Can you film in GTA 6?
GTA 5 on PC had the Rockstar Editor for making videos. Speculation: a video editor returns, maybe tied to the in-game social media.
Will first person work in vehicles?
In GTA 5 it did, with full dashboards. Likely: the same in GTA 6, including motorcycles and boats.
