GTA 6's Vice City is much bigger than the 2002 original, and fans have already spotted several neighbourhood names in the trailers and screenshots. Rockstar has not published a district map, so this guide lists the names seen in captures of the game and what each area seems to offer.

District names come from signs and landmarks seen on screen. What you can do in each is our expectation.

Which Vice City neighbourhoods are known?

  • Vice Beach, the Art Deco beachfront with Shore Drive, SW 4th Street and Ocean Beach. See Vice Beach and Ocean Drive.
  • Downtown and the port, the skyscraper core and docks. See Downtown Vice City and the port.
  • Little Cuba, where a car dealership has been spotted
  • Southside, home to street parties and stunt nights, with El Joven Boulevard
  • Crosstown, a low-rise neighbourhood linked to Lucia's apartment
  • Stockyard, with a neon tattoo parlour and a biker crowd
  • Bayside, home to the Galina Ballet Opera House
  • Rockridge, a suburban area with strip malls and houses for sale
  • The Vice Decor District, where a jewellery store robbery is shown

Some other names, such as Washington Beach and Watson Bay, appear in captures too, but where they sit on the map is not yet clear.

What is each neighbourhood like?

Likely, based on the footage:

  • Vice Beach for nightlife, hotels and the beach crowd
  • Downtown for banks, offices and high-rise heist targets
  • Little Cuba for food, music and car culture
  • Southside for street parties and the city's rap scene. See Real Dimez.
  • Rockridge for suburban life and property

How does it compare to the old Vice City?

The 2002 Vice City had Ocean Beach, Washington Beach, Little Havana, Little Haiti, Downtown and Vice Point. Some names have clearly returned or been updated, but the new map is far larger. See our Vice City page and the Vice City history page.

Where will we mark the districts?

We will add every neighbourhood border to the interactive map after launch.
