GTA 6's Leonida is more than Vice City. The trailers and screenshots show small towns, county roads, motels and swamp camps, and fans have pieced together a growing list of place names from signs. Rockstar has named its six main regions, but these smaller places fill the gaps between them.

Names come from signs and landmarks seen in captures. Exact positions are not confirmed.

What are the main regions of Leonida?

Rockstar has named six: Vice City, the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park. See Leonida for the full overview.

Which smaller towns have been spotted?

  • Key Lento, a Keys town with roadside shops on Route 1 and The Rusty Anchor bar
  • Buckskin, with a gas station food mart
  • Capri, with a sunlit gas station
  • Hamlet, where the Leonida prison stands
  • Waning Sands, home to an alligator-themed mini golf course
  • Watson Bay, with waterfront restaurants and a garage

Which counties are known?

  • Kelly County, with a canyon highway and a train bridge
  • Mariana County, with swamp camps and an RV park in the backwaters

Likely: more counties exist, each with its own sheriff, as GTA 5 had Blaine County.

What are the small towns like?

From the footage, Leonida's small towns are full of gas stations, motels, bars and flea markets. Speculation: they will host many of the side missions and strangers and random events, as small towns did in GTA 5 and Red Dead 2.

Will we map the towns?

Yes. Every town and county will be added to the interactive map, and our trailer landmarks page lists places already pinned.
