Grassrivers is GTA 6's version of the Everglades, a wide stretch of swamp, sawgrass and slow water in the state of Leonida. It is one of the six regions on Rockstar's official site and one of the wildest parts of the map.

The trailers show alligators, airboats skimming over the water and isolated spots far from any road. The interactive map shows the Grassrivers landmarks spotted so far.

What is Grassrivers in GTA 6?

Grassrivers is Leonida's wetland region, sitting between the coastal cities and the inland farmland. It is quieter and emptier than Vice City, with water channels, mangroves and the occasional shack or dock.

We expect it to work as a natural barrier on the map, crossed by a few roads and many waterways. That makes it ideal for escapes, hideouts and anything that needs to happen out of sight.

What wildlife lives in Grassrivers?

How do you get around Grassrivers?

Airboats are the classic way to cross the swamp, and they appear in the trailers. Our Grassrivers airboat route suggests a scenic loop to try at launch. Off-road vehicles should handle the drier tracks, and roads cut across the region to link the coasts.

Rockstar has not detailed activities, but based on what we have seen we expect:
