GTA 6 Interiors

GTA 6 interiors shown in the trailers include nightclubs, strip clubs, gyms, convenience stores and homes, which suggests far more enterable buildings than GTA 5. Rockstar has not published a list, so the exact number of interiors is still unknown.

What we can say is that many scenes take place indoors, and they look fully detailed. We will mark enterable buildings on the interactive map once the game is out.

Which interiors have been shown?

From the official trailers and screenshots, we have seen:

• Crowded nightclubs with dance floors and DJ booths.
• Strip clubs lit in neon, tied to Boobie Ike's business.
• Gyms, including indoor weight rooms, see GTA 6 gyms and customization.
• Convenience stores, including one being robbed.
• Homes and apartments where characters live.
• Party and music spaces that fit the Only Raw Records side of the story.

Can you enter more buildings than GTA 5?

We expect so. GTA 5 had a limited number of interiors outside missions, with many buildings being solid shells. The GTA 6 trailers show a wide range of indoor spaces used casually, not just in cutscenes. Our GTA 5 vs GTA 6 page covers other big changes.

That said, do not expect every building to be open. Open-world games still rely on a mix of full interiors, partial interiors and closed doors.

Which shops and businesses will have interiors?

Will interiors matter for gameplay?

Very likely. Robberies, shootouts and police chases look like they can spill into indoor spaces. More interiors also means more places to hide, shop and explore, which should help the world feel lived in.

Will interiors change after launch?

This page is built from trailer footage, so it covers only what Rockstar chose to show. Once GTA 6 is out we will check which buildings are really open, add them to the map and correct anything that turns out differently.
