GTA 6 shops will very likely cover the usual Grand Theft Auto lineup of clothing stores, gun stores, barbers, tattoo parlours and car mods, plus the convenience stores Jason and Lucia are already shown robbing in the trailers. Rockstar has not released a full shop list, so this page combines what is visible on screen with what every recent GTA has offered.

Shops matter more than they first appear. They are where you spend your money, change your look, restock ammo and, in GTA VI, pick up targets for quick cash.

What shops are confirmed in GTA 6 trailers?

The clearest example is the convenience store. Both trailers show robberies of small corner stores, with Jason and Lucia working as a team. That points to holdups being a regular activity rather than a one-off scripted moment.

Which shop types should GTA 6 have?

If GTA 6 follows GTA 5, we expect these shop types to return:

• Clothing stores at several price points, from discount chains to designer boutiques in Vice City.
• Ammu-Nation for weapons, ammo, armour and attachments.
• Barbers and tattoo parlours for hair, beards and ink.
• Mod garages for paint, wheels and performance, as covered in GTA 6 car customization.
• Convenience stores and liquor stores for snacks and, of course, robberies.
• Boat and vehicle dealers, which feel like a natural fit for a state built around water.

Two protagonists also means two wardrobes. We expect Lucia and Jason to have separate clothing options and possibly shared spaces to store outfits.

Can you rob shops in GTA 6?

Yes, store robberies are shown in official footage, which makes them one of the most certain activities in the game. How much they pay, and how quickly police respond, is still unknown. The new wanted system is expected to react to witnesses and cameras, so a sloppy holdup could be costly.

Expect bigger rewards from bigger targets. Small stores are likely early game cash, with heists providing the real payouts later.

Where are the best shopping areas likely to be?

Downtown Vice City and the beach district are the obvious retail hubs, with high-end fashion near the waterfront and discount chains further inland. Smaller towns in Ambrosia and Port Gellhorn will likely have gas stations, bait shops and a single store of each type. Once the game launches we will pin every shop on the interactive map.
