Jason lives on Brian Heder's property in the Keys and Lucia's apartment block appears in Crosstown. Here is what we know and expect about GTA 6 safehouses, saving and moving up in the world.
On this page
GTA 6 safehouses have not been detailed by Rockstar, but we already know a little about where the two leads live. Brian Heder lets Jason Duval stay on his property in the Keys, and a low-rise apartment building in Crosstown, Vice City, is linked to Lucia Caminos.
Here is what we expect from safehouses, based on those clues and on past GTA games.
Where do Jason and Lucia live in GTA 6?
- Jason lives rent-free on Brian Heder's property in the Leonida Keys, in exchange for helping with Brian's business.
- Lucia is linked to an apartment building in Crosstown, with the downtown skyline behind it.
Likely: the story moves them into shared places as their partnership grows, and the safehouses change as their money does.
What do safehouses do in GTA?
In past games, safehouses were where you:
- Saved the game
- Changed clothes
- Stored vehicles in a garage
- Slept to pass time and heal
Likely: GTA 6 keeps all of these. Red Dead 2 added camp upgrades, so speculation: a home that changes as you upgrade it is possible.
Can you buy houses in GTA 6?
GTA Vice City let Tommy buy safehouses and businesses across the city, on top of the mansion he took over in the story. San Andreas and GTA 5 also had properties to buy. Likely: GTA 6 lets you buy new homes and garages once the story allows it. An official image of a For Sale sign outside a house in Rockridge is a fun hint, though not proof. See properties and businesses.
Will there be a mansion?
In the original Vice City, Tommy Vercetti ran his empire from a mansion. Speculation: a late-game mansion or penthouse for Jason and Lucia would be a fitting nod, but nothing is confirmed.
Will safehouses be on the map?
Yes. Once the game is out, we will mark every safehouse, garage and property on the interactive map.
