GTA 6 restaurants and fast food are expected to include returning chains like Burger Shot, Cluckin' Bell, Up-n-Atom and Pizza This, along with new local spots that fit Leonida's beaches, swamps and small towns. Rockstar has not confirmed a food list or whether eating has any gameplay effect, so this page sets out what we expect.

Food has had different roles over the years. In San Andreas it changed CJ's weight and stamina. In GTA 5 it was mostly a quick way to heal from vending machines and snacks. GTA VI could land anywhere between the two.

Which fast food chains will be in GTA 6?

These are the most likely returning chains:

• Burger Shot, the series' flagship burger joint.
• Cluckin' Bell, the fried chicken chain.
• Up-n-Atom, the retro burger diner from GTA 5.
• Pizza This and Well Stacked Pizza, the pizza chains.
• Bean Machine, the coffee shop parody.

All of these are long-running GTA 6 brands and fit a big American state. New Leonida-only chains are also likely, such as a Cuban sandwich spot in Vice City or a seafood shack in the Leonida Keys.

Can you eat food in GTA 6?

We expect so. The real question is how much it matters. With the trailers showing gyms and a stronger focus on body and appearance, a light San Andreas style system where food and exercise affect your character is possible. You can read more on our gyms and customization page.

At minimum, snacks and drinks should restore health, as they have in every recent GTA.

What restaurants fit the Leonida setting?

Florida is famous for its food scene, and Rockstar loves local detail. Here is what we would expect in each region:

• Vice City: Latin American cafes, rooftop bars and expensive beachfront restaurants.
• Leonida Keys: fish shacks, key lime pie stands and dockside bars.
• Grassrivers: roadside stands near airboat tours, likely with a gator meat joke or two.
• Ambrosia and Port Gellhorn: diners, barbecue joints and gas station hot food.

Most sit-down restaurants in past GTA games were exterior only. GTA 6 is expected to have far more enterable interiors, so some of these may open their doors.

Can you rob a fast food restaurant?

Unknown. Convenience store robberies are confirmed in the trailers, but fast food outlets have usually been off limits. If they can be robbed, we would expect a higher police response in busy areas.
