When does GTA 6 come out?
GTA 6 comes out on Thursday, November 19, 2026. That is the worldwide launch date for both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, covering physical and digital copies.

What time does GTA 6 unlock?
Rockstar has not confirmed an exact unlock time yet. If it follows recent big console launches, we expect digital copies to unlock at midnight local time in each region, though a single global unlock time is also possible.

Which platforms is GTA 6 on?
At launch, GTA VI is available on two platforms:
- PlayStation 5 (including PS5 Pro)
- Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S
There is no PS4 or Xbox One version. A PC version has not been announced, although a recent report points to early 2027. Rockstar has not confirmed that window.
How much does GTA 6 cost?
The Standard Edition costs $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition costs $99.99 in the US. In the UK the prices are £69.99 and £89.99. Pre-orders have been open since June 25, 2026.

What should I do before launch?
The week before release is the time to sort your storage, preload and settle in. We expect a busy first night, so having everything installed ahead of time is the smartest move.
