GTA 6 Minigames and Leisure Activities
Mini golf, pool, boxing, diving and kayaking all appear in official GTA 6 images. Here is the full list of leisure activities we have seen and the classic GTA minigames we expect to return.
On this page
GTA 6 minigames have not been listed by Rockstar, but the official screenshots are full of people having fun. Cal Hampton plays a round at an alligator-themed mini golf course, Jason shoots pool in a bar, Lucia boxes, and divers swim with a sea turtle over a coral reef in the Keys.
Whether all of these are playable is not confirmed. This page separates what has been seen from what we expect.
What leisure activities are shown in GTA 6?
From official screenshots and trailers:
- Mini golf at a course with a giant alligator statue, with Cal Hampton holding the club
- Pool in a bar, with Cal watching Jason line up a shot
- Boxing and weight training, with Lucia Caminos in a gym
- Diving over a coral reef in the Leonida Keys
- Kayaking down a river near Mount Kalaga National Park
- Boat parties on sandbars and pool parties in Vice Beach
Which classic GTA minigames will return?
Likely: these have been in recent Rockstar games and fit Leonida:
- Golf, which GTA 5 had as a full 9-hole course
- Darts, in GTA 4 and GTA 5 bars
- Tennis, a GTA 5 activity that suits a Florida-style state
- Bowling, a GTA 4 favourite that fans keep asking for
- Arcade games, which GTA Online brought back in arcades
Speculation: card games such as poker, which Red Dead 2 had, could appear in back rooms or on yachts, but real-money style casino gambling is unlikely to be in story mode.
Will there be sports and races?
GTA 5 had street races, off-road races, sea races, triathlons and parachuting. Likely: street and sea races return, given the speedboats and sports cars in every trailer. Airboat races through Grassrivers would be a natural Leonida twist.
Can you go to the movies or clubs?
GTA 5 had cinemas and strip clubs, and GTA 4 had comedy and cabaret shows. Likely: nightlife plays a big part in GTA 6, from clubs to the Jack of Hearts strip club owned by Boobie Ike. See GTA 6 nightlife.
Will minigames be on the map?
Yes, once the game is out. We will mark every golf course, bar with pool or darts, gym and dive spot on the interactive map.
